What is inside your Caviar?

T'LUR caviar has a minimal amount of salt and does not contain any additional chemicals, preservatives, or coloring. As a result, it has a shorter shelf life and must be stored at a specific temperature to maintain its freshness.

How to store your Caviar?

Caviar should always be stored at the temperature range of -2°C to 2°C. Remove the caviar from its box or packaging before placing it in the chiller. For home chillers, the tin should be placed flat, on the inner bottom shelf of the refrigerator, right above the drawer, as this is the coldest part of most chillers

How to know if Caviar is safe for consumption?
Caviar is a raw produce and may have a light fishy or oceanic scent. However, good caviar will not have an overwhelming or unpleasant odor or flavor. However, it is possible for individuals who are sensitive to fish or seafood to have an adverse reaction to caviar, but this should not be mistaken as spoilage. Under no circumstances should caviar be consumed if it has a pungent fishy odor or if there is any sign of mold present in the caviar.

 

Once opened, the caviar should be consumed within 24 hours. It should always be kept in the chiller or served chilled (on ice). At room temperature, it should be consumed within 2 hours and any remaining caviar should not be stored in the refrigerator

Every person’s health condition is different. Reaction from consuming a high amount of caviar differs from person to person. For any health concerns or existing conditions, it is recommended to check with the doctor before consuming your caviar.
 
Allergic reactions
Allergies can vary from person to person, and it is possible to be allergic to caviar even if you can consume other types of seafood, and vice versa. It is essential to consult with your doctor if you have a history of allergies.


If you experience symptoms such as hives, skin rash, difficulty breathing, headaches, stuffy nose, or nausea after ingesting caviar or any other seafood product, it is important to seek medical attention from a healthcare professional immediately.

How much caviar can I eat?
There is no real limit to how much caviar a person can consume. Caviar is packed with various vitamins and minerals, however, it is also high in cholesterol. For daily consumption, eating only 15g of caviar a day is advisable.
 
Can caviar be consumed if you are pregnant?
As caviar is unpasteurized raw produce, it is advisable to seek medical advice before consuming it to ensure the safety of you and your fetus.
